What a few months it has been. Orders galore and I feel I have officially turned into Mrs Claus! How blessed I find myself surrounded by Christmas loveliness..
Presents are getting wrapped and our luxury bespoke hampers have been packed ready for delivery. This year we have two special Christmas hampers available. One focussed on those extra foodie bits needed to make a Christmas meal even more delicious, we added christmas puddings, champagne, sticky toffee pudding and the list goes on. Our second hamper is a complete bespoke gift collection made specifically for our customers needs, including presents of all shapes and sizes, drinks and anything else you could possibly dream of.
We have sourced as many of our beautiful products as possible from local suppliers and it has been a pleasure meeting some of them and forging new friendships… Alison from Lillipuds (have a look at her website, gorgeous Christmas puddings and other delights.. web site designer Kirsty Callaby from Kybo Designs… also designed Something Givens web)
Being lucky enough to support the raffle table at my first Christmas shopping night we were able to promote Something Given with examples of our luxury wrapping whilst networking with other talented small businesses also occupying stalls such as Abigail’s lifestyle (photo below). The evening was a great success and raised money for the Lennox Children’s cancer charity. All organised but the wonderful Samantha Darling.
Our next event will be Saturday the 10th of December at Brentwood school 11-2pm. Something Given will have a stall and will be selling handmade gift tags and some beautiful Christmas cards designed and made by Molly Shepherd. Come along and visit us, we may be just what you are looking for in next years rush for gift buying and wrapping, we can explain how in any situation or special occasion a bespoke gift from Something Given can make all the difference. You will be able to take a postcard with all our contact details on, designed by Jo Boxer .. Jo@boxercreativeuk.com.
We wish you a joyous Christmas time full of happiness and ribbons….
